POSITION SUMMARY

Greet and escort guests to rooms. Open doors and assist guests/visitors entering and leaving property. Inform guests of property amenities, services, and hours of operation, and local areas of interest and activities. Identify and explain room features to guests (e.g., use of room key, mini-bar, ice and vending areas, in-room safe, valet laundry services). Transport guest luggage to and from guest rooms and/or designated bell area. Assist with luggage storage and retrieval. Assist guests/visitors in and out of vehicles, including assisting guests with loading/unloading luggage. Supply guests with directions. Arrange transportation (e.g., taxi cab, shuttle bus, limousine/sedan service) for guests/visitors, and record advance transportation request as needed. Communicate parking procedures to guests/visitors.

Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; complete safety training and certifications. Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearances are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guests’ service needs; thank guests with genuine appreciation. Speak with others using clear and professional language; prepare and review written documents accurately and completely; answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards. Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time; grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 KGs without assistance. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors/Managers.

CRITICAL TASKS

  • Assist guest with luggage/baggage.

  • Answer bell stand mobile phone within required time frame.

  • Deliver guest items required by the guest.

  • Complete all required checklists per shift (e.g., daily checklist).

  • Great all guests in a friendly and efficient way

  • Walk the security points in the resort

  • Advise reception on all unusual happenings in the resort

  • Collect all trolleys from the floors and send them to the assigned parking lots

  • Be always visible for reception, if not assisting guests

  • Collect any paper/rubbish from public area

  • Ensure timely delivery/retrieval of all luggage, packages, etc. either checked or left at reception.

  • Supply directions and information regarding:

unit property, staff and services, including hours of operations the immediate area guest room location

  • Arrange and store luggage carts safely. Extreme care and proper loading habits for protection of guest property should be taken when carts are in use.

  • Monitoring the main entrance and welcome all guests.

  • Ensure cleanliness and neatness of work area using free time for cleaning.

  • Each associate is expected to carry out, within their capabilities, all reasonable requests by management.
